Qatar’s hotel industry saw a notable improvement in performance metrics in November, according to preliminary data from CoStar. The occupancy rate for the month reached 83.9%, up 0.5% from the previous year. The average daily rate (ADR) rose by 19.6% to QAR578.58, while revenue per available room (RevPAR) increased by 20.3% to QAR485.26.
Excluding the World Cup host year, November’s ADR and RevPAR were the highest since 2013. The daily occupancy rate peaked at 94.2% on November 24, coinciding with the Doha Film Festival and the eve of MWC Doha. This was the highest occupancy rate since February of the same year.
The highest ADR (QAR 875.56) and RevPAR (QAR 809.10) were recorded on November 28, the opening night of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, which coincided with the final day of the Doha Film Festival. These figures were the highest since the World Cup in December 2022.
Throughout November, daily occupancy levels consistently remained above 70%.
