There are plenty of exciting originals and licensed content coming to Netflix UK in January 2026.

January is shaping up to be an exciting month for new movies and TV shows on Netflix UK. In addition to originals such as Bridgerton, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials Mystery, and His & Hers, there are also strong licensed titles such as The Good Doctor, The Life of Chuck, and The Amazing World of Gumball.

This list will continue to be a work-in-progress, updated throughout December 2025 and into January 2026 as we learn of more titles scheduled to release during the month. Please keep it bookmarked.

The Good Doctor (Seasons) – Freddie Highmore stars as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a surgeon with autism and savant syndrome.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024) – Ghostbusters, new and old, must join forces to take down an ancient evil, or a new ice age will devastate the earth.

Free Bert (Season 1) N – Comedy series from Bert Kreischer as a father attempting to fit into Beverly Hills when his daughter enrolls at an elite private school.
French Girl (2024) – Romantic comedy starring Zach Braff, Evelyne Brochu, and Vanessa Hudgens.
Hot Pursuit (2015) – Reece Witherspoon stars as Cooper, a by-the-book cop who is ordered to protect the widow of a drug boss.
The Life of Chuck (2025) – Mike Flanagan directs this Stephen King adaptation, which stars Tom Hiddleston as Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz and his life story told in reverse.

Lisa Frankenstein (2024) – Kathryn Newton stars as Lisa, a teenager whose crush just so happens to be a corpse. When he is brought back to life, the pair embark on an epic journey.
Raging Bull (1980) – Beloved sports drama starring Robert De Niro, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as Jake La Motta.
