Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Avantika by the Ganges, a new hotel under its SeleQtions brand, in Varanasi. The property is situated on the banks of the Ganges River, near the Kashi Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav temples, and offers 43 rooms and suites.
The hotel features an all-vegetarian restaurant, Dhanushkoti, serving dishes inspired by traditional Varanasi kitchens, with locally sourced ingredients. Additionally, the hotel offers a fitness center, spa, and salon.
Varanasi, renowned for its spiritual significance, is among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The city is known for its sacred ghats along the Ganges River and attracts spiritual seekers, cultural enthusiasts, and history enthusiasts.
