Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Kennedy 89, a new hotel in Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen district, as part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened Kennedy 89, a full-service hotel located in Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen district. This development marks the introduction of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Germany, expanding Hyatt’s presence in the European market.
The hotel features 180 rooms, including 69 suites, each equipped with a kitchen and a private balcony overlooking the Frankfurt skyline. The property is well positioned to attract both business and leisure travelers, thanks to its proximity to cultural sites such as the Städel Museum and the Main River promenade, as well as Frankfurt International Airport.
Kennedy 89 includes several dining options. The Eighty Nine Restaurant & Bar offers Levantine cuisine, while the KaSa Lounge & Bar serves classic dishes and cocktails inspired by John F. Kennedy. A rooftop bar, Jack’s Rooftop Bar, is scheduled to open in July 2026 and will offer views of the city.
The hotel also offers meeting and event facilities, with four flexible rooms equipped with modern audiovisual technology. A 24-hour fitness studio is available for guests, featuring a range of exercise equipment and plans to incorporate Peloton bikes.
The opening of Kennedy 89 is part of Hyatt’s strategy to grow its luxury portfolio across Europe.
