Over the past few days, Netflix has been announcing renewals and other news from Japan, and today we got the international voice cast alongside the previously announced Mikaela Hoover for the English-language version of the show.

As of the time of writing, we’re now 79 days until the significant return of One Piece, and it’s going to be an eventful season. We’ve already learned about all the new locations, 33 new cast members and characters, the episode titles, and much more.

All this week, as we noted, there’s been lots of anime news announcements coming out about anime courtesy of the Jump Festa. From Netflix, we learned that Sakamoto Days is getting a season 2 and that the official release date for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7 has been announced.

Today it was the turn of new One Piece announcements, including the fact that the anime series Elbaph Arc will begin debuting from April 5th, and there’s a mini-anime series for Tony Tony Chopper releasing in January.

The cast announcement also came with a new teaser trailer showing the various voice actors in booths around the world performing their lines.

In addition to the casting news, the main cast also appeared to tease what to expect from season 2. They reflect on Season 2, describing it as a wild journey where “every day on set felt like we were really part of the crew.” One cast member shares that their favorite part was “pushing through all of the hard moments on the epic adventure” and teases what comes next. They promise “bigger fights, bigger laughs, bigger hearts,” before thanking the audience and cheering, “To the Grand Line!”

Here are some more first look stills at season 2, coming to Netflix on March 10th, 2026:

Season 3 of One Piece is currently in production through to 2026, and we might even get some One Piece surprises at the NFL Christmas Day Games if the teaser trailer is anything to go by (and the fact that the cast has been actively promoting the games in the past few days on social media).

We’ll keep you posted on more about One Piece seasons 2 and 3 as and when we get it.
