Reality Star Announced as Next Cohost of 'The View'

Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley is stepping out of her comfort zone to step in as cohost of The View.

“I am cohosting The View the week of February 15th, so I’ll be on The View all week,” Chrisley, 28, announced during the Tuesday, December 23, episode of her “Unlocked” podcast. “I’m so excited for that because I like doing things that challenge me, [and] I like doing things that educate me.”

Chrisley—who advocated for her parents’ release from prison after their 2022 fraud conviction—added, “I’m going outside my comfort zone by going on a show where there’s four or five women who all believe one way — and I believe differently.”

Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, currently host the long-running daytime talk show. While it’s unclear where Chrisley will fit into the mix, it’s likely she was tapped to fill in for one host’s absence.

“I’m totally going outside of my comfort zone by doing The View. I mean, this is a show that … these personalities have bashed my family, have bashed me,” she added during her Tuesday podcast. “These are the same women who made a comment to the extent of, ‘Wonder what she had to do for those pardons.'”

After Donald Trump granted Todd and Julie Chrisley presidential pardons in May, Behar, 83, slammed the administration, saying, “According to this administration, if you are a reality star with a lot of money, and a tax cheat, and you commit fraud, then that’s good. We’re going to give you a pardon.”

Navarro added, “This is not normal, this is not honest, this is not ethical. Basically, there is a huge for sale sign on the lawn of the White House. If you are a supporter, if you are a donor, then you can buy pardons.”
