Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica has completed a $16 million renovation, enhancing its guestrooms, meeting spaces, and dining facilities.
Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica has completed a $16 million renovation, which began in 2024 and concluded this fall. The renovation includes updates to all 315 guestrooms and the addition of 15,000 square feet of meeting spaces. The project also introduced Coastal Harvest Bar & Kitchen, a new restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a focus on California-inspired cuisine.
The renovation features 11 event spaces, including the 4,526-square-foot Delfina Ballroom, noted as Santa Monica’s only rooftop ballroom. This space offers views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Mountains and can accommodate up to 400 guests for receptions. Another addition is the Sandbox, a 500-square-foot venue designed for team-building and networking, with a capacity of up to 120 guests for receptions.
The hotel’s redesign incorporates coastal-inspired elements, with a focus on creating a modern, relaxed atmosphere. Seven exclusive Sunset Suites have been introduced, each offering a private ocean-view balcony. The guestrooms have been updated to reflect a contemporary design with ocean, mountain, city, or pool views.
Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica is located on Pico Boulevard, offering guests walkable access to the Santa Monica Pier, beaches, and downtown dining. The property includes amenities such as a heated saltwater pool, a fitness center, and complimentary beach cruiser bicycles.
The renovation is designed to serve both leisure and corporate travelers, offering versatile event spaces for professional gatherings, weddings, and celebrations. The hotel provides room blocks for large parties and an events team to support group functions.
