Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the inclusion of six Wink properties in Vietnam into its Unscripted by Hyatt brand, marking the brand’s global debut and expanding Hyatt’s presence in Vietnam from four to ten hotels.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Indochina Kajima have agreed to incorporate six Wink properties in Vietnam into the Unscripted by Hyatt brand. This move marks the global launch of the Unscripted by Hyatt brand and significantly increases Hyatt’s footprint in Vietnam. The agreement includes existing Wink properties in Saigon, Danang, Tuy Hoa, Can Tho, and Hai Phong, as well as a new location in Hanoi set to open in late 2026.
The six Wink hotels—Wink Saigon Centre, Wink Danang Centre, Wink Danang Riverside, Wink Tuy Hoa Beach, Wink Can Tho Centre, and Wink Hai Phong Centre—will transition to the Unscripted by Hyatt brand, adding over 2,000 rooms to Hyatt’s portfolio in Vietnam. This expansion brings Hyatt’s total number of properties in the country to ten.
The strategic collaboration between Hyatt and Indochina Kajima, a joint venture between Indochina Capital and Kajima Corporation, aims to leverage the Unscripted by Hyatt brand’s flexible and conversion-friendly model. This approach allows independent hotels to maintain their unique identity while benefiting from Hyatt’s global systems and platforms.
The new Wink Hanoi Westlake property is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, further expanding the brand’s reach in Vietnam. This addition will bring the total number of Wink properties under the Unscripted by Hyatt brand to seven.
The integration of Wink hotels into the Unscripted by Hyatt brand is part of Hyatt’s strategy to expand its presence in the Vietnamese market, targeting both domestic and international travelers. The move aligns with Hyatt’s broader goal of increasing its brand presence in key destinations across Asia.
