Four Seasons Hotel Toronto Achieves Top Sustainability Certification

Green Key Global has awarded the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto the 5 Green Key Eco-Rating for its sustainability efforts.

Four Seasons Hotel Toronto has been recognized with a 5 Green Key Eco-Rating from Green Key Global, acknowledging its sustainability and social responsibility initiatives. The hotel has implemented various measures to reduce energy consumption and waste, contributing to its high rating.

The hotel launched its Smart Buildings Program in 2013, resulting in significant energy savings. The program has conserved over 28 million kWh of electricity and more than 3 million cubic meters of natural gas. These efforts have prevented the emission of over 7,000 tons of CO₂, equivalent to removing approximately 4,000 passenger vehicles from the road and saving over 30,000 barrels of oil.

The hotel supports charities such as Second Harvest, The Common Table, The Scott Mission, The Good Shepherd Ministries, and WWF-Canada. It participates in annual toy drives and festive meal donations, and its staff volunteers for various causes.
