Good times
We were in the courtyard discovering the new libations with very tasty bites, rhythmed by live music played by a guitarist. Time must have paused for a few hours as the event was supposed to end at 8 p.m., and we left at 10 p.m. We were having such a delicious time.
At the age of 14, Gino Angelini already knew he was going to be a chef after having spent so much time with his mother and grandmother in the kitchen of their small town in the Emilia Romagna region of northern Italy. After years of cooking in Italy, with a rich Italian gastronomic tradition in his hands, he moved to Los Angeles in 1995 — a predestined city with his name…
In 2001, with his wife Elizabeth, they opened Angelini Osteria. It was an immediate success. Despite the plethora of eateries that have opened since, Angelini Osteria is still a Los Angeles favorite among authentic Italian food lovers.
NOTE: I have a thought for Elizabeth and Gino Angelini, and their team, as they currently can only operate Angelini Palisades for delivery due to January 2025 devasting Palisades fire.
The cocktails
Deepening the Italian experience, the cocktail program is not driven by trends, but by the same kitchen philosophy: simple and authentic.
Drinks are crafted with house-made infusions and a thoughtful selection of traditional Italian liqueurs, amari, aperitivi, and digestivi—honoring time-tested flavors and techniques.

Celebrating with a bottle of Prosecco
What a better way to welcome new cocktails by opening blindfolded of bottle of prosecco with a saber?
