Hilton Adds Two Hotels in Makkah, Nearly Doubling Presence in the City

Hilton has opened two new hotels in Makkah: DoubleTree by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah and Wirgan Al Noor, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

Hilton announced the opening of two new properties in Makkah: DoubleTree by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah and Wirgan Al Noor, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The addition of these hotels nearly doubles Hilton’s presence in the city. Both properties are owned by Wirgan Hospitality.

Wirgan Al Noor, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is the first Tapestry Collection property in Makkah and is the largest Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel globally. The hotel has 1,386 guest rooms and suites. It is located near the historic Hira Cave and is less than a 15-minute drive from Masjid Al Haram. The property includes an all-day dining restaurant, a coffee shop, two ballrooms, eight meeting rooms, a fitness centre, and a kids club.

DoubleTree by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah is located in the eastern area of the Al Aziziyah district, five minutes from Masjid Al Haram and close to the Hira Cave. The hotel features 381 guest rooms and suites. Facilities at the property include an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby coffee shop, a fitness centre, and meeting rooms.
