Snoop Dogg Sends Love to Daughter After 10-Month-Old Granddaughter’s Death

In the wake of an unimaginable loss, Snoop Dogg is quietly showing up for his family.

Hours after his daughter Cori Broadus shared the devastating news that her baby girl had died, the rapper shared a post, seemingly in support. On Saturday, January 31, Snoop, 54, posted a family photo to Instagram featuring Cori, 26, alongside her brothers Corde Broadus, 31, and Cordell Broadus, 28. The caption was brief but emotional: “💖🙏🏾.”

Friends and fans in the comments sent their well wishes to the rapper and his family.

“Love you all 🙏🏽❤️❤️,” one wrote, while another said, “This is very devastating news I love me some Cory.”

Death Row Records left three blue hearts, and rapper Busta Rhymes left a series of crown emojis.

Cordell reinforced that message of unity shortly after, reposting the image to his Instagram Stories and writing, “Lil sis, we got you forever.”

Cori shared the heartbreaking update with her followers earlier that day. In a black-and-white photo of herself holding her daughter, she wrote, “Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” with an angel wing emoji. Codi Dreaux was just 10 months old.

Cori announced her pregnancy in December 2024, later revealing that Codi arrived far earlier than expected—at six months gestation. At the time, Cori reflected on the emotional toll of the experience on Instagram, writing, “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed…,” before adding, “Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me 🙏.”

She later explained via Instagram Story that doctors delivered her baby via C-section after she developed HELLP syndrome, a serious pregnancy complication. Codi spent the next 10 months in the NICU, a journey Cori frequently documented with honesty and hope.

Earlier this month, Cori celebrated bringing her daughter home. On January 6, she posted a photo of herself snuggling with Codi on her bed, writing, “She’s home. 🤍,” followed by, “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all. 🕊️✨.” She followed up that post by resharing it on her Instagram after revealing her daughters passing, saying “20 days later? Dawg I’m sick.”

Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared his grief publicly, posting a photo of himself holding Codi with the message, “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.”
