Vignette Collection Expands to 10 Hotels in Greater China

IHG Hotels & Resorts reported that the Vignette Collection now operates 10 hotels in Greater China. The brand entered the region in 2023 and has expanded across major cities and lifestyle destinations. Vignette Collection is part of IHG’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio and includes properties that have undergone conversion and upgrading while retaining their original character.

The company stated that the brand supports the renewal and upgrading of existing properties by integrating Vignette Collection’s brand elements into design and service. An example provided is Palm Springs Hotel Chengdu, Vignette Collection, which has incorporated the brand’s hallmarks while maintaining its established presence.

Vignette Collection properties offer what the company describes as “One-of-a-Kind Stays,” with each hotel providing its own interpretation of the experience based on its location. For example, at TFT Chongqing, Vignette Collection, guests can personalize artistic key cards and participate in a fragrance experience.

The brand also incorporates social and environmental responsibility initiatives, including at THE ONE Shanghai Downtown, Vignette Collection, where the hotel collaborates with local art and community partners to display works by young artists in public spaces, with proceeds supporting creative education initiatives.

Since its global launch in 2021, Vignette Collection has continued to expand its presence, with several additional projects in preparation in Greater China. The company stated that it will continue to develop the portfolio in the region.
