Canada’s Wonderland is hiring 4,000 seasonal workers for the 2026 season

4 February 20263 Mins Read

Canada’s Wonderland is not letting the cold snap stop them from preparing for the upcoming 2026 season. An opening date has been set, and the CW team is currently hiring, aiming to fill up to 4,000 positions. Here’s what to know!

On Wednesday, the popular amusement park announced its plans to hire 4,000 seasonal associates for the season. Though positions will be posted throughout the month of February, its parent company, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, is hosting a week-long hiring event from Feb. 14 to 22, 2026.

“We may be in the cold depths of winter, but we’re excited about the fun in store this season and have hiring efforts already underway,” said Taneshia Khan, director of Human Resources.

“At Canada’s Wonderland, the fun and perks are just the beginning. We’re proud to offer competitive wages, meaningful opportunities to build leadership skills and real pathways for professional growth—whether someone is joining us for a summer, a part-time role, or to launch their career. It’s a place to make lifelong friends and start building a future.”

As for the positions available, there are tons of openings across all departments. These include Food & Beverage Associates, Ride Operators, Lifeguards, Security Associates, Sales Associates for Merchandise and Games, Park Services Attendants and more.

How to apply to work at Canada’s Wonderland

Thankfully, applying for these jobs is easy. All you have to do is view the open positions on the official Canada’s Wonderland website and submit an online application.

Don’t see something that interests you? Don’t worry! New job opportunities are updated weekly, so be sure to check regularly for more openings. Canada’s Wonderland is hiring for A LOT.

As for employee benefits, Canada’s Wonderland offers “competitive wages” and pretty cool perks.

Hourly pay starts at $16.60 for all students under 18 years of age and $17.60 for those 18 years and older.

Employees will also get discounts on park food and merchandise, reward and recognition programs, exclusive park events for associates, ride nights, a cafeteria with discount meals, and free admission to any Six Flags park, including Cedar Point, Kings Island, Darien Lake and La Ronde.

Those interested in applying must be at least 15 years old. However, the age requirement may vary based on the position available.

When is it opening for the season?

Now for the big question: When is Canada’s Wonderland officially opening?

According to the team, our beloved amusement park will welcome thrill seekers once again on May 3, 2026.

So you have plenty of time to plan your park day. But if you’re applying to work at Canada’s Wonderland, do so ASAP.

Good luck!
