The weather’s finally starting to warm up for the weekend in Edmonton.

Since the weather is fantastic, and everything is starting to melt, we’ve got the best things to do in Edmonton this weekend, indoor and out. Whatever you’re looking to do or find this weekend, we’ve got you covered. Let’s jump into things, shall we?

The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra will be performing Antonio Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” a world-famous composition known for its intense and emotional beauty.

There’s no question that Edmonton has some of the best escape rooms around. We’ve rounded up the best of them in a list for you folks to check out, and maybe, just maybe, you might be able to escape.

Friday Night Trivia is hosted each week at Telus World of Science’s Purple Pear Restaurant. This event is not only free but also family-friendly, so everyone can participate and compete.

This is Edmonton’s science centre, with feature displays, interactive learning opportunities, and so much more. Here, you can even catch a movie in IMAX or visit its new exhibit, Jurassic World by Brickman.

Rabbit Hill is Edmonton’s largest snow resort, offering over 40 acres of terrain and a thrilling tube park for over 70 years. It is now open for the winter season.

The Art Gallery of Alberta is one of the best art galleries in the province, with a good bang for your buck. It’s especially great considering the art gallery is almost completely refreshed every four to six months, allowing for an all-new experience each time you visit.

The Silver Skate Festival is a 10-day family-oriented festival in Edmonton, combining arts, culture, sports, and recreation. From skating on the city’s best surfaces to gazing upon the magnificent fire sculptures, this festival has it all. You can even participate in one of many competitions, like Western Canada’s Oldest Winter Triathlon.

The Muttart Conservatory is well-known in Edmonton for being a tropical paradise indoors during the winter months. Year-round, it holds majestic botanical gardens for everyone to see.

Currently, the Muttart Conservatory is showing off its “Prehistoric Paradise” feature. It’s showing off a step back in time with a lush, tropical landscape of banana plants, vibrant bromeliads and dinosaurs, which provide an incredible backdrop for photos.

The Edmonton Chinatown Multi-Cultural Centre will be partnering with West Edmonton Mall to host the Lunar New Year Extravaganza 2026.

This 10th anniversary evening celebrating Black History Month will be a night of storytelling, creativity, and community. The theme, “A Decade of Narratives,” honours the voices, experiences, and contributions of youth and artists who have shaped the Africa Centre’s youth collective’s journey over the past ten years.
