Christopher Atkins is even more handsome these days than he was in the beloved 1980 film The Blue Lagoon.
The former teen heartthrob, 64, starred alongside Brooke Shields in the movie about two teens who were marooned on a tropical island as children, and then grew up and fell in love. Atkins went on to appear on the popular ’80s TV show, Dallas, and even reunited with Shields many years later on her hit NBCsitcom, Suddenly Susan.
These days, Atkins is still known for his dedicated fan base, who loved him in Lagoon and his follow-up roles. Atkins recently took to Instagram to share that he’s available to make Cameo videos and revealed some behind-the-scenes photos from his time on the set of the movie, which went down in history as a legendary teen romance.
“I still have some of my old things. This is one of my favorites. Here are some of my old Blue Lagoon pictures that nobody’s really ever seen. These are pictures that we took when we were shooting, back in the day,” Atkins shared, holding up a board of photographs.

“Had a great hike today. Started snowing at the start then some blue skies and sleet as I got to the car. Got a good sweat and was a beautiful hike. Got fresh beef at Laurel Ridge grass fed beef and fresh milk and chocolates from Thorncrest Farms,” the actor wrote.
