Abu Dhabi hotels posted their highest January average daily rate and revenue per available room since 2010 and 2009, respectively, as international events and concerts boosted demand.
Abu Dhabi hotels recorded significant gains in January 2026, with average daily rate (ADR) rising 10.4% year over year to AED846.34 and revenue per available room (RevPAR) increasing 9.9% to AED720.98, according to preliminary data from CoStar. These figures represent the highest January ADR since 2010 and the highest RevPAR since 2009.
Occupancy for the month was 85.2%, a slight decrease of 0.5% compared to the previous year. Occupancy peaked at 95.5% on January 28, the first night of the WCO Technology Conference & Exhibition, which overlapped with the 27th Annual IBA Arbitration Day. The World Energy Summit also contributed to performance, with occupancy reaching 94.6% and ADR rising to AED931.21 on January 13.
Concerts by Ludovico Einaudi, Lewis Capaldi, Ricky Martin, and Linkin Park further supported demand, with occupancy exceeding 80% on all but six nights during the month.
Each performance metric peaked on New Year’s Day, with ADR at AED1,277.59 and RevPAR at AED1,075.04.
