Marcus & Millichap completed a $40.5 million transaction for the sale of the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center, a 291-room hotel in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The transaction, which involved multiple stakeholders, was described as a year-long process.

Northshore Development, based in Orlando, Florida, purchased the property. Marcus & Millichap’s Chase Dewese, Jack Davis, and Joce Messinger, in association with Steve Greer, Marcus & Millichap’s broker of record in Louisiana, exclusively represented Northshore Development in the sale.

The Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center overlooks the Mississippi River from the City Center in downtown Baton Rouge. The hotel is located two blocks from Louisiana’s Old State Capitol, with nearby attractions including The Louisiana Art and Science Museum, Shaw Center, Raising Cane’s River Center, and The Central Green.
