Simone Biles, 28, got to do one of her favorite things with one of her favorite people on Valentine’s Day 2026: go to the Olympics with her 30-year-old husband, Jonathan Owens! But it was Owens’ surprise when they got back to their hotel in Milan, Italy, that made the holiday of love extra special for his wife.

The Olympic gymnast shared a clip on her Instagram Stories of their room filled with shiny red and rose gold heart balloons and a perfectly-made bed that had “Be My Valentine” written out in red rose petals.
Their dinner was just as on-theme: a heart shaped pizza on a table covered in petals. Clearly the couple was hungry after their big day at the games, because there was a chunk taken out of the pie in the photo.
“Phone did not eat first [laughing emoji href=”https://.com/living/emoji-meanings”],” joked Biles.

Earlier in the day, the seven-time gold medalist and her Chicago Bears safety hubby enjoyed a tasty looking charcuterie board before watching the Olympic figure skating finals, including Ilia Malinin‘s highly anticipated, but ill-fated performance.

The couple was twinning in their outfits, as usual. Both wore Olympic bomber jackets, with Biles’ cream coat rocking the Olympic logo on the back and Owens’ blue version donning “Team USA” across his shoulders. He dressed his look down with some light gray sweatpants and sneakers, while she dressed hers up with some white jeans, cream heels, a red, blue, and gold Gucci bag and a diamond goat necklace.

Neither Biles nor Owens is a stranger to the Olympics. Biles has competed in three Olympic Games: Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024, where she won 11 medals total, and Owens took time off from his football schedule to support his wife in Paris in 2024.
“It was emotional even when she made trials. I cried for her, knowing all the work that they put in. Usually, it’s once every four years, so just imagine, the pressure for them … ‘if I mess this up, I won’t get another chance for four years,'” he told the Bears’ blog in 2024. “I know all the hard work that she puts in. I can’t wait to go out and just watch her and watch all of her dreams come true.”

Owens was over-the-moon when Biles took home the gold in July 2024. “Witnessing history every time you step on the mat!” he wrote alongside a sweet photo with his wife as he wore her medal. “Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful I was there to see it!”
Owens is just as supportive of her man. She showed up to almost every single one of his NFL games in the 2025-2026 season wearing unique custom outfits with his name on them, while always greeting him on the sidelines with a kiss. “Love getting to support mine [white heart emoji]” she wrote beside a sweet on-field photo on Dec. 30.
