Another landmark boxing fight will be streamed live and exclusively on Netflix when Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have their long-fated rematch inside the Sphere in Las Vegas on September 19, 2026. Here’s everything we know about Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao live on Netflix.
It has been 11 years since the “Fight of the Century,” when Floyd “Money” Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) first defeated Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs). Both fighters are iconic figures in boxing and are considered two of the best the sport has seen in the 21st century.
This will be the fourth time Mayweather has come out of retirement, who has officially been “retired” since 2017, only stepping back into the ring for an exhibition match against Logan Paul in 2021. Pacquiao also retired from boxing in 2021 to focus on his political career, but returned to the sport in July 2025 to fight WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
The rematch between Mayweather and Pacquiao will also be a landmark occasion for the Sphere in Las Vegas, the first time the venue has hosted a live boxing fight, which will be streamed live and exclusively on Netflix on September 19, 2026.

Manny Pacquiao had the following to say about the rematch:
“Floyd and I gave the world what remains the biggest fight in boxing history. The fans have waited long enough—they deserve this rematch, and it will be even bigger now that it will be streamed live globally on Netflix. I want Floyd to live with the one loss on his professional record and always remember who gave it to him. As always, I dedicate this fight to my fellow Filipinos around the world and to bringing glory to the Philippines.”
Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather had few words to say on the rematch:
“I already fought and beat Manny once. This time will be the same result.”
Gabe Spitzer, Netflix’s Vice President of Sports, shared his excitement about the occasion:
“Earlier in my career, I spent weeks in Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao’s training camps in Las Vegas and the Philippines. It was undeniable that they were the two hardest workers in boxing, and their wins and accolades were a product of that. Bringing this rematch to Netflix is a massive ‘full-circle’ moment. We’re thrilled to combine their storied rivalry with the immersive technology of Sphere to deliver a landmark sporting event to our members worldwide.”
Further details about the fight, including the undercard, press conferences, and ticket availability, will be released in the coming weeks and months.
If you’re looking forward to more live sports on Netflix, later this year, as Tyson Fury comes out of retirement to take on Arslanbek Makhmudov, and UFC pioneers ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano will go head-to-head inside an MMA ring.
