IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

At some point over the coming year the fog that too often clouds your brain will lift and you will “get it” at last. When that moment arrives you must act quickly to embrace new ideas, new ambitions and new ways of looking at the world.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you give yourself time to think this weekend you will come up with some interesting answers to problems that have plagued you for weeks. Too often you act first and ask questions later, but now you need to reverse that process.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Venus, your ruler, joins forces with Mercury in the friendship area of your chart this weekend, so chances are you will meet someone whose outlook on life fits perfectly with your own. What can you do together that makes a difference in the world?

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Are you making the most of the talents you were born with? You may be doing well but the planets indicate strongly that you could be doing even better, so set your sights high and believe with all your heart that you can fly.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Both your head and your heart are in a good place at the moment and this weekend’s Venus-Mercury link will bring more reasons to be cheerful. But don’t go too far and start believing things that seem a little bit nutty. Keep that head screwed on.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You know what needs to be done, so get on and do it and ignore those who say you are on the wrong path. The simple fact is that whatever path you choose to take this weekend it will move you closer to your long-term goals.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Relationships are under excellent stars at the moment but as your ruling planet Mercury is now moving retrograde you still need to be careful what you say. Not everyone shares your dry sense of humour, so make it clear that you are joking.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

A more laidback approach to your work situation will do wonders over the next 48 hours. The more chilled you are about what needs to be done the easier it will be to actually do it. There’s no profit to be had by worrying.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The time has come to set yourself new targets in life, ones that are more in keeping with who you really are as opposed to the kind of person other people want you to be. Give those new targets some serious thought this weekend.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

There has to be a reason why you don’t trust someone, even though you may be unable to put it into words, but don’t ignore your instincts. Be nice to everyone this weekend, but don’t make promises you may not want to keep later on.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If you focus on your No. 1 ambition, and keep it at the forefront of your mind at all times, by the time Monday comes around it could be a big part of your reality. Just make sure it’s a genuine desire and not a pretend one.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

While Mercury is moving retrograde in the money area of your chart you would be wise not to take any sudden decisions regarding your financial affairs. What looks like such a good idea this weekend could look horrendously bad a week from now.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

An issue you have been grappling with for quite some time should be easier to resolve now that mind planet Mercury links with Venus. But you must make sure you get to the root of the problem. Superficial answers could actually make it worse.
