“I self-styled and things kind of came together last minute, and I was like, I mean, I feel good in this, you know? You wanna wear something that you feel good in. And this made me feel good, so that was nice because I was like really nervous,” she said.
Beyond her fashion choices, Thorne radiated happiness discussing her personal life with fiancé Mark Emms. The couple, engaged since May 2023, recently collaborated on their first movie together.
Thorne explained, “Creating art is really hard… at some point, right before filming, I wanted to return the love that he had given me when he proposed and make it equal. He was crying. It was so sweet and endearing and authentic,” Thorne explained.
Thorne admitted to feeling nervous throughout the Oscars morning: “Anxiety, anxiety, a small glass of champagne, more anxiety. They beat my face, they beat my hair. I love my team so much, and, yeah, more anxiety.”
