Farm Boy is opening a new storefront in Collingwood, Ont., marking its 52nd store in the province. It looks like you’ll soon get a new pit stop on your road trip adventures.
According to the retailer, Farm Boy will open its newest location on March 26, 2026. To celebrate its northern Ontario expansion, Farm Boy will host three days of grand opening celebrations.
Expect delicious product samples, mascot appearances, giveaways, games, and much more.
“We’re delighted to be bringing ‘A Farm Boy Fresh Twist’ on the food experience to Collingwood and to serve this vibrant, close-knit community,” said Shawn Linton, president and general manager of Farm Boy Company Inc.
“With great food, excellent value, and friendly service, we’re excited to be Collingwood’s newest friendly neighbour, bringing our fresh-market experience and becoming a trusted part of the daily routine of the community here.”
What to expect
Those in the area may recognize a few friendly faces as several employees from the former Sobeys location will return to the new Farm Boy location.
Putting community at the forefront, the store honours the area with a custom mural inspired by Collingwood and Blue Mountain.

- An expanded grocery selection, including a World Market offering international and globally inspired products
- Hot Bar, Chef’s Market Soup Bar, and Salad Bar selections
- Arterra Wine Rack, featuring better-for-you wines, sparkling selections, and premium and limited-edition offerings
- A wide range of convenient foods and everyday non-food essentials, including pet food, baby and paper products
Whether you live in the area or often road trip up to Collingwood, this new Farm Boy location will soon offer another spot to stock up on groceries and treats.
It will be located at 39 Huron St.
