A newly surfaced clip shared by an Instagram user on Friday, March 20 appears to show Paul filming a date scene for the now-scrapped season. In the video, the reality star is seen walking along a beach with one of her contestants, the two seemingly enjoying a private, picture-perfect setup that’s very on-brand for the franchise.
While it’s unclear which suitor appears in the clip, but fans theorized in the comments that Paul was with Casey Hux. With ABC pulling the plug on the season before its scheduled premiere, behind-the-scenes moments like this may be the only content viewers ever get.

As previously reported, the network made the decision to cancel the season following the release of a video tied to Paul’s 2023 domestic violence incident involving her ex, Dakota Mortensen. The fallout has extended beyond just the show itself.

In the wake of the cancellation, all 22 contestants were brought into an emergency virtual meeting with producers. Sources who spoke with TMZ earlier today say the men were reminded that their contracts remain active for a full year, meaning they are still bound by strict confidentiality rules and cannot speak publicly about their experience.
The meeting reportedly included multiple lawyers and emphasized the importance of following network guidelines. An after-care team also hosted what was described as a “seminar” to support contestants navigating the sudden shift.
Despite the abrupt end to the season, there may still be opportunities ahead. Some contestants are reportedly being considered for Bachelor in Paradise, offering a potential second shot at reality TV fame.
For now, though, the clips will be the closest fans will get to seeing Paul’s highly anticipated Bachelorette journey.
