From Sirius Black in theHarry Potter franchise to Commissioner Gordon in The Dark Knight trilogy, Sir Gary Oldman has brought so many characters to life with his unforgettable performances. The Oscar winner currently stars as the brilliant but obnoxious Jackson Lamb in Slow Horses on Apple TV+.

Fun fact: Oldman actually took the role of Sirius Black partly to impress his kids—and partly because he needed the paycheck after taking a year off to spend time with them. We love a family man! He talks more about it in this clip from The Drew Barrymore Show.

2. Matthew Broderick is 64

After starring in one of the most iconic movies of all time—Ferris Bueller’s Day Off—Matthew Broderick went on to star in even more classics. He voiced Adult Simba in Disney’s The Lion King and starred in cult films like Election and The Cable Guy. Most recently, he nabbed an Emmy for his hilarious performance—playing a fictionalized version of himself—on Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.

Fun fact: Broderick actually turned down the iconic role of Alex P. Keaton on Family Ties because he didn’t want to relocate from New York to Los Angeles—opening the door for Michael J. Fox to step in!

3. Rosie O’Donnell Turns 64

Rosie O’Donnell—what a legend! The Long Island native started doing standup comedy at just 16 and got her first big break when she competed on Star Search in 1984. From there, she starred in some of the ’90s most beloved movies—including A League of Their Own, Sleepless in Seattle and Now and Then. But she became everyone’s favorite pretend best friend after the launch of her daytime television series—The Rosie O’Donnell Show—where she also brought Koosh balls into the national spotlight.

We lost a national treasure when she relocated to Ireland in 2025. But the good news is she’s super active on social media—even selling a Nissan Juke that she only drove once after arriving in the motherland. “I’m too old to learn how to drive on the left!” she joked. The best news? She’s getting back into comedy and has a new one-woman show titled Rosie O’Donnell: Common Knowledge.

Fun fact: She’s as philanthropic as she is funny. O’Donnell used the entire $3 million advance from her 2002 memoir—Find Me—to establish her For All Kids Foundation, which helps fund national standards for daycare and supports early childhood education programs.

4. Jace Norman is 26

From 2014-2020, Jace Norman rose to superstardom as Henry Hart on Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger. But he does so much more than just acting: Norman signed an overall development deal with the children’s network and was a producer on the Henry Danger spin-off Danger Force. He also made his directorial debut on the show and went on to star and executive produce 2025’s Henry Danger movie for Paramount+. And that was all before his 26th birthday! We can’t wait to see what he’s got in store next.

Fun fact: He grew up on a farm-like property in New Mexico, where he and his brothers would write and film their own movies.

5. Timothy Dalton Turns 80

While he will always be celebrated as the fourth James Bond, Timothy Dalton has built a wide-ranging career beyond 007. He voiced the hilariously dramatic hedgehog—Mr. Pricklepants—in the Toy Story franchise and starred on the hit DC superhero series Doom Patrol. But the British actor recently swapped his license to kill for a license to ranch, bringing his commanding presence to the Yellowstone universe as ruthless billionaire Donald Whitfield in the acclaimed prequel series 1923.

Fun fact: Despite splitting his time between Los Angeles and London, Dalton is a devoted supporter of the Manchester City Football Club and is frequently spotted cheering them on from the stands.
