Taylor Lautner and Wife Tay Expecting First Child Together

Taylor Lautner and Tay Lautner are going to be parents!

The couple announced they are expecting their first child together in an Instagram post on Thursday, March 26.

“What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?🤍” the caption read.

Taylor and Tay got married in 2022 after publicly announcing their relationship in 2018. The two met through Taylor’s sisterMakena Moore who introduced the two.

Taylor recalled meeting Tay while on a hiatus from acting to People in 2022, “I wanted to take a step back and enjoy life and spend some time with my family and friends. And I met my fiancée out of it, so it all worked out,” he explained.

The couple had previously opened up about the possibility of starting a family, with Tay telling UsWeekly in 2024, “Sometimes we get a little nervous. How do we raise kids [who] are going to be able to speak up for themselves or feel like they can talk to us about this? It scares me.”

She continued at the time, “Definitely [at] some time at some point, there will be [kids]. He’s [Taylor] a gem. He’s my golden retriever — that’s what I call him. He’s just joy on Earth.”

The couple currently co-host a mental health forward podcast together called The Squeeze which launched in 2023.
