For affordable home decor, storage solutions and kitchen necessities, I like to start at Dollar Tree. It’s easy to forget that store has a lot of hidden gems tucked among its shelves. But then you’ll spot some gorgeous tableware for $1.50 apiece and it will jog your memory as to why looking for that green and white store sign is always a good idea.

Mediterranean Black And White Bowl, $1.50 at Dollar Tree

Just look at Dollar Tree’s Mediterranean Black And White Bowl, which retails for $1.50 each. The stoneware bowls are perfect for cereal, soup, a side salad or even just for snacking, and they feature a delicate pattern that’s on both the inside and outside of the piece.
There’s a reason stoneware has such a devoted following when it comes to tableware—it’s considered really durable. Heavier and more substantial than standard ceramics, stoneware feels sturdy in your hands, with a natural, slightly rustic texture.

If you want a complete set with this Mediterranean pattern, Dollar Tree also offers mugs and plates with the same motif. Each item has a $1.50 price tag so, in theory, you could get 12 three-piece place settings for $54—not bad at all.
