Everything Indian Added to Netflix in March 2026

Old favorites and recent hits make for an exciting month of Indian content on Netflix.

As part of its push to bulk up its collection of Original South Indian titles, Netflix released the Tamil coming-of-age drama film Made in Korea. The Great Indian Kapil Show wrapped its fourth season, with a return planned for later this year. And in addition to a bunch of new theatrical releases, director Meghna Gulzar’s terrific Hindi thrillers Raazi and Talvar are also available to stream.

Gippi (2013)

Genre: Teen Drama | Added to Netflix: February 28

Masaba Masaba director Sonam Nair started her career with the coming-of-age drama Gippi. Newcomer Riya Vij plays the title character Gippi, an awkward teenager who overcomes her self-doubt to challenge the school’s most popular girl in the election for class president.


Raazi (2018)

Cast: Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Jaideep Ahlawat
Genre: Period Drama, Spy Thriller | Added to Netflix: February 28

The terrific espionage drama Raazi sees Alia Bhatt playing the daughter of an Indian spy and undertaking a dangerous mission in order to carry on her father’s work. She marries the son of a Pakistani Brigadier to uncover details of an impending attack on India. However, her new husband’s kindness and the warm welcome by his family make her deception more complicated than she’d trained for.


Talvar (2015)

Language: Hindi
Runtime: 132 Minutes

Cast: Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi
Genre: Drama, Mystery | Added to Netflix: March 5

Before Raazi, Meghna Gulzar directed Talvar (international title: “Guilty“), a mystery masterpiece. A teenage girl is found dead in her bedroom, her parents having evidently slept through her murder. When the main suspect is also killed, attention turns to the parents. A botched investigation leads to three main theories of the crime, all of which as depicted as though they are true (much like Kurosawa’s Rashomon). It’s a gripping film from start to finish with some truly outstanding performances.


With Love (2026)

Languages: Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, & Telugu
Runtime: 141 Minutes
Director: Madhan
Cast: Abishan Jeevinth, Anaswara Rajan, Saravanan
Genre: Romantic Comedy | Added to Netflix: March 5

Sathiya and Monisha are paired for an arranged marriage via a matchmaking service, only to realize that they attended the same high school. While reminiscing about their school days, both reveal the identities of their former crushes. Before marrying each other, they agree to meet their old flames just to make sure all the embers of romance have died out — but have they? Funky (2026)

Languages: Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, & Tamil

Director: Anudeep K.V.
Cast: Vishwak Sen, Kayadu Lohar, Naresh
Genre: Musical Comedy | Added to Netflix: March 12

Thanks to lavish musical numbers and expensive fight scenes, first-time director Komal’s movie is so over-budget that it gives his producer Sudharsan a heart attack. And the film isn’t even finished! While Sudharsan recovers, his daughter Chitra takes over the production, determined to keep Komal’s spending under control. Komal’s only hope for getting more money for his movie? Made in Korea (2026) N

Shenba has spent her whole life dreaming of leaving her small village in Tamil Nadu to live in South Korea. But when she gets to Seoul, she realizes she’s been betrayed by her boyfriend and that the job she’d lined up was a scam. Through some unlikely friendships in a foreign land, Shenba learns how to stand on her own two feet. Made in Korea has more than a dozen dubbed dialogue tracks, plus audio description tracks in Hindi, Korean, Spanish and Tamil — all of which can be found in the film’s audio menu.


Pennum Porattum (2026)

Cast: Raina Radhakrishnan, Satheesh Pulikka, Dinesh Pepo
Genre: Comedy | Added to Netflix: March 12

Actor Rajesh Madhavan makes his directorial debut with the absurd comedy Pennum Porattum (“The Girl and the Circus“). Mob mentality is seen through the eyes of a dog named Suttu as the human residents of his small village mistake him for being rabid and his owner Charulata for being promiscuous. Border 2 (2026)

Director: Anurag Singh
Cast: Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh
Genre: War Drama | Added to Netflix: March 19

Border 2 is a spiritual sequel to 1997’s Border, which also starred Sunny Deol, but as a different character. The new film follows an Indian battalion in a remote region that comes under attack during the India-Pakistan War of 1971. The story shows the war from multiple fronts, including operations undertaken by India’s Army, Air Force, and Navy. Beyond Deol, the ensemble cast includes Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa.


Mardaani 3 (2026)

Languages: Hindi, English, French, & 9 more
Runtime: 129 Minutes
Director: Abhiraj Minawala
Cast: Rani Mukerji, Janki Bodiwala, Mallika Prasad Sinha
Genre: Crime, Thriller | Added to Netflix: March 26

Veteran actress Rani Mukerji is back as the tough-as-nails detective Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3 (the title translates to “Manly“). This time, SSP Roy must dismantle a network responsible for the disappearance of almost 100 girls in the span of three months, including a diplomat’s daughter. Masthishka Maranam: A Frankenbiting of Simon’s Memories (2026)

Language: Malayalam

Genre: Sci-Fi | Added to Netflix: March 26

Experimental Malayalam director Krishan examines digital voyeurism in the cyberpunk satire Masthishka Maranam (“Brain Death“). Two decades in the future, a father tries to reconnect with his deceased daughter in a virtual reality game, only to find himself embroiled in a dangerous scandal involving a female celebrity.


Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos (2026)

Language: Hindi
Runtime: 116 Minutes
Director: Vir Das, Kavi Shastri
Cast: Vir Das, Mona Singh, Mithila Palkar
Genre: Action Comedy | Added to Netflix: March 31

Netflix India’s favorite stand-up comedian Vir Das makes his directorial debut with Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos (“Happy Patel: Dangerous Spy“). Das plays the titular Happy Patel, the adopted son of British spies. When he learns that he was born in India, Happy gets the chance to become a spy like his two dads and explore the country of his birth — but only if he can rescue a woman from a vicious Goan mob boss (played by Netflix India’s current favorite actress, Mona Singh).

The Netflix Original series Hello Bachhon (“Hello Children“) is based on the founder of the online learning platform Physics Wallah. A dedicated physics teacher finds success on YouTube offering free college entrance exam prep courses to students who can’t otherwise afford expensive coaching. However, several of his offline students have obstacles in their way that can’t be fixed with just a YouTube video. Additional dubbed dialogue versions can be found in the series’ audio menu.
