Molly Ringwald rose to stardom during the ’80s in the films of John Hughes, and she’s still a stunning redhead over 40 years later.
Ringwald, 58, became instantly associated with the Brat Pack thanks to her roles in Hughes’s beloved teen films like Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. The film, which co-starred Andrew McCarthy and Jon Cryer, won the hearts of a generation and legions of young people from the generations to follow thanks to its sweet love story and tale of Andie, a working-class girl who falls for a wealthy classmate, played by McCarthy. Directed by Howard Deutch, the cult classic will be on replay across the globe for generations.
In 2026, Ringwald is still a screen icon, and she hasn’t changed a bit from her days on the big screen. With roles in series like Monster and Feud, Ringwald is still a thriving actor, but she’s also a talented writer. But one look at her recent selfie, and it’s safe to say she’s pretty ageless. One look at the comments and it’s clear all her followers still love her just as much as they did back in 1986.
“There’s my ’80s crush,” one person said, commenting on a photo of the redheaded beauty as she gazes into the camera.
