Little Debbie Debuts Two First-of-Its-Kind Treats That Shoppers Have Wanted For Years

7 April 20262 Mins Read

It’s always a major occurrence whenever an iconic snack food company announces the debut of a brand-new treat.

Such is especially the case when it’s a brand as universally beloved as Little Debbie, who recently announced the debut of two new permanent treats to its expansive product lineup.

According to a recent press release from the company, Little Debbie will soon begin offering Soft Baked Cookies, an exciting spin on their classic snack cake formula.

“Little Debbie has long been known for creme-filled cookies. Now we are offering new traditional Soft Baked Cookies that deliver the soft, satisfying texture today’s consumers want,” said Chuck Clevenger, associate brand manager at McKee Foods. “By combining a bakery-style experience with the convenience of a 3 oz. individually-wrapped package, we’ve created a treat that is perfect for any on-the-go snacking occasion.”

To that end, Little Debbie will start rolling out two different varieties of their just-announced cookies. First, there’s the traditional Chocolate Chip Cookie, featuring a golden-brown appearance semi-sweet chocolate chips. Then, there’s the equally delicious Peanut Butter Cookie, “formulated with real peanut butter for a deep, authentic nutty flavor.”

Both cookies will be sold in a generously-sized 3 oz. portions, allowing for freshly preserved and effortlessly tasty accessibility, as well as relative ease of portability. As the company said of the new products, “By delivering bakery-style softness in a durable, shelf-stable format, Little Debbie provides a premium solution for impulse-buy environments like convenience stores and grab-and-go racks.”

Little Debbie’s new cookies join an increasingly long line of exciting treats from the premium snack provider. More recently, the company unveiled a variety of new snacks for shoppers across the country. This includes the company’s new Ice Cream Sandwiches, its Banana Puddin’ Creme Pies, its Spring Strawberry Delights and its Boston Creme Pies, among many other flavor innovations.
