IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A Mercury-Pluto link on your birthday will sharpen your mind and make it all but impossible for other people to trick you. It will also encourage you to get involved in a cause of some sort, one in which you will rise quickly to a leadership position.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Yesterday’s new moon no doubt had you feeling invincible but as the sun leaves your sign this weekend you would be wise not to put that belief to the test. Fortune favours the bold, of course, but that is not an excuse to take foolish risks.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The sun’s entry into your sign this weekend marks the start of a brand new phase, but with so much cosmic activity still taking place in the most sensitive area of your chart it may not feel like it to begin with. Be patient. Your time will come.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Make it your priority over the next 48 hours to remind yourself how lucky you are compared to most other people. There may be times over the next few weeks when you are inclined to wallow in self-pity, but there’s really no call for it.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You need to get past the idea that for every winner there has to be a loser to balance things out. That kind of polarized thinking is the cause of so much that is wrong with the world, so drop it and focus on actions that benefit everyone.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Something you started a month or so back will bear fruit this weekend, and most likely it will be connected to your career in some way. Don’t stop there though. Leverage your success to push ahead with an even bigger ambition.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun’s change of signs this weekend will open your mind to new possibilities and show how you have been held back in recent weeks by too much negative thinking. It’s time to start believing that the universe is on your side, because it is!

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You are about to be confronted by a situation that calls for crystal clear thinking followed by decisive action. You may be worried that others won’t agree with some of the choices you make but you cannot let that hold you back.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

There is an old saying about being nice to people when you are on the way up because you may need their help later on when you are on the way down, and that’s something you should bear in mind this weekend. Be friends with everyone.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You will have to make some kind of adjustment to your working routine this weekend. The planets warn if you refuse to make it then what occurs a week or two from now could cause serious problems. This is not a good time to be stubborn.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The sun’s move into the most dynamic area of your chart this weekend will help you get past recent disappointments and it won’t be long before your glass has gone from being half empty to half full to overflowing. Good times are coming.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

What happens on the home front over the next 48 hours will affect every other area of your life as well, so if there is a difficult situation that needs to be resolved you must get on to it right away. Don’t ignore your obligations.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The more you get out and about and meet people this weekend the more you will enjoy yourself. The planets also suggest that you will become friendly with someone whose influence opens doors for you that had previously been locked.
