IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with PAYBACK, a German consumer loyalty program with more than 35 million customers, enabling PAYBACK members to earn rewards when staying at any of IHG’s more than 7,000 hotels globally.
IHG One Rewards members based in Germany can now choose to earn either IHG One Rewards points or PAYBACK points for stays at participating IHG hotels. This selection can be made within the IHG One Rewards app or on IHG.com. PAYBACK points earned through hotel stays can be redeemed across PAYBACK’s network of retail, grocery, and lifestyle partners.
The partnership connects IHG One Rewards with PAYBACK’s widely used loyalty platform in Germany, offering IHG One Rewards members additional ways to earn rewards beyond traditional travel benefits.
IHG currently operates 190 hotels in Germany, with an additional 52 hotels in development as of December 31, 2025.
PAYBACK’s platform includes a network of 700 brands. The partnership allows PAYBACK members to earn rewards at IHG hotel brands, including InterContinental, Kimpton, Holiday Inn, and Garner.
