American actress Michelle Monaghan, known for her roles in Gone Baby Gone, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, True Detective and most recently Jaclyn in the anthology series White Lotus, has been a global ambassador for science-backed skincare brand U Beauty since March 2025.

We connected with Monaghan to learn about the “why” behind her skincare collaboration, her favourite products, skincare must -haves and what’s next for the award-winning actress.

Our Q&A with Michelle Monaghan

Q: Who are you?

A: I am an actress, a skin cancer advocate and global ambassador for U Beauty.

Q: What drove you to partner with U Beauty? 

A: I was inspired to partner with U Beauty after experiencing their products and seeing how much they actually work. Learning about how scientifically researched their products are, how conscious they are about product development, and how safe, effective, and science-backed the brand is made it easy to sign up to be a long-standing partner.

Q: What are your favourite products from U Beauty and why?

A: I call the Resurfacing Compound my little Holy Grail. It’s U Beauty’s debut product and it’s the first product that I’ve ever used. It replaces about eight different products that you have in your lineup, which I love because it’s the ultimate multitasker. I also absolutely love their Smooth Dynamic Wrinkle Defense Serum. This is their most innovative wrinkle serum yet. It really targets fine lines and wrinkles — past, present and future — and it really improves skin’s elasticity and the longevity of the skin the longer you use it. I’ve also been a huge fan of their Return Eye Concentrate. It’s a beautiful texture. I’m also obsessed with their Super Body Hydrator.

Q: Why is your skincare routine important?

A: My skincare routine is really important because it’s intentional and thoughtful. It makes me feel really good knowing that I’m putting products on my skin that are helping target issues that I have concerns with, but also acting as a preventative line of defense.

Q: Which skincare essentials did you pack for the heat/humidity in Thailand while filming your season of The White Lotus?

A: I packed a lot of sunscreen, and the U Beauty Super Body Hydrator, which was amazing because I incorporated it into a lot of the body makeup to create the glow that I wanted my character Jaclyn to have.

Q: Were you introduced to any new skincare or beauty products on set that you now can’t live without?

A: I was introduced to Thai massages and that’s something that I still treat myself to.

Q: What’s next for you?

A: I have a movie called The Whisper Man co-starring Robert De Niro and Adam Scott coming out this year. Also a fun comedy called Little Brother with John Cena coming out this year as well.
