Donny Osmond, 68, and His Wife Look Stunning While Celebrating '48 Wonderful Years' of Marriage

9 May 20263 Mins Read

Donny Osmond, 68, recently celebrated his wedding anniversary with his wife Debbie, 67. The pair got married in Salt Lake City in 1978.

As he explained in a 2016 Facebook post, “I first met Debbie when she was 15 years old. She was the hot babe cheerleader in town and she dated my brother Jay before she dated me. It took me 3 whole years to win her heart and convince her to marry me. We were married in the Salt Lake LDS temple on May 8, 1978.”

This year, Donny posted about their marriage milestone on his Instagram page. He also shared the post to his Stories with his cover of “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love” from The Spinners.

In the post, he said, “When you get right down to it, life goes by fast. It’s hard to believe it’s been 48 years since I made eternal vows to my sweetheart in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together, we’ve built a life full of love, memories, and family—and I’d choose you all over again. I love you, sweetheart.”

Although the singer is used to being in the spotlight, Donny prefers to keep his marriage private. However, he has spoken about Debbie to his fans in the past. In a 2020 Valentine’s Day post, he said, “This is Debbie, my wife of almost 42 years and the absolute love of my life. We decided a long time ago that we prefer to keep our personal relationship and home out of the spotlight.”

He continued, “This Valentine’s Day, I want to publicly express my gratitude for the irreplaceable influence Debbie continues to be in my life. She’s not only the love of my life, but she’s also my best friend and greatest confidant. Between raising our five sons, running the show at home, enjoying time with our grandchildren and running a business as well, I really don’t know how she manages to do it all.”

He completed the post by saying, “Through the years, Debbie has often had to manage on her own while I’ve toured and performed on the road. That’s a very heavy burden to bear, and I’m deeply grateful for a wife who is my teammate in every sense of the word. She is the glue that holds us all together.”

Donny and Debbie have 5 children and 16 grandchildren.
