Jennifer Lopez 'So Proud' as She Shares Impressive Update on 18-Year-Old Twins

Jennifer Lopez is getting loud about her kids’ academic achievements!

The Office Romance star, 56, revealed that as 18-year-old twins Max and Emme prepare to head off to college this fall, they both got into every college to which they applied—and even earned some scholarships along the way.

“I am so proud that they set goals for themselves,” Lopez said in a new interview with Extra when asked about her twins, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 57. “They all got into all five colleges that they applied to. They both got a scholarship to each, you know, one scholarship to each. Each one got a scholarship to a school. And I just felt like they work so hard. “

“I watched how hard they worked, from the time they were like… when school gets serious in the fifth grade, and they just worked hard,” she continued. “They have ADHD, and so they need to learn differently, and there were struggles and times, and I’m just so proud of them because they did what they said they were going to do, and they’re good people.”

Praising her children as “loving, good-hearted people,” Lopez revealed that she’s impressed upon them the importance of balancing academic performance with life lessons.

“I always say to them, ‘What do I say?’ And they say, ‘Doesn’t matter if we get good grades so long as we’re good people,'” the Grammy winner shared. “And I was like, ‘That’s right.’ And they still sometimes will quote that back to me. So I’m very proud of both of them.”

Lopez previously spoke about her twins’ college journey during her May 27 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, admitting that she had been “crying for two months” as they prepare to leave the nest. “I want them to be happy, go where they want to go, and do what they want to do,” she added.
