Magnolia Hotel Denver Secures Refinancing and Completes Renovations

JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group has arranged refinancing for the Magnolia Hotel Denver, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, on behalf of Stout Street Hospitality. The 297-key full-service boutique hotel is located in downtown Denver’s Central Business District. The loan was provided by PPM America, Inc.

The Magnolia Hotel Denver occupies a building originally constructed in 1910 as the First National Bank. Converted to a boutique hotel in 1995, the property features 297 guestrooms and suites with 12-foot ceilings and expansive windows. The hotel offers more than 13,450 square feet of meeting and event space across 12 venues, including the 3,800-square-foot ’17th by Magnolia’ ballroom with a 25-foot-high glass atrium ceiling and art deco-inspired decor. Harry’s restaurant and bar serves seasonal American cuisine for three meals daily.

The hotel is located near the Colorado Convention Center, Ball Arena, Coors Field, and Empower Field at Mile High. It is also close to the LoDo Historic District and the recently completed 16th Street Mall revitalization. The downtown location provides access to major corporate offices and three universities on the nearby Auraria Campus.

Stout Street Hospitality owns the Magnolia Hotel Denver and maintains its corporate headquarters in the building. The company owns four Magnolia-branded hotels in Denver, St. Louis, Houston, and Omaha. CoralTree Hospitality, based in Denver, manages the hotel’s operations.
