UMusic Hotel & Private Residences Austin has been announced as a new project in Austin, Texas, featuring 150 guest rooms and 600 private residences. The property will be operated by UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle, with White Rocks as the owner and developer. The Private Residences are now available for purchase.
The development includes the White Rocks Amphitheater, an open-air venue designed for live performances, and is situated on a 71-acre site overlooking ten thousand acres of Texas Hill Country preserve. More than 70 percent of the site will remain as green open space. The project aims to integrate hospitality, culture, community, nature, conservation, technology, business, and philanthropy.
The hotel will feature a central bar, an interior performance venue, professional recording and content studios, a nightclub, comedy club, destination dining, and a spa and wellness center. Indoor and outdoor gathering spaces are included, and the parking structure is fully clad in Corten steel with a rooftop pool and fitness club.
UMusic Hotel & Private Residences Austin is the first UMusic Hotel property in the United States to introduce Private Residences. These condominium homes will offer private pools and fitness facilities, secure underground parking, common areas, and access to hotel and entertainment amenities. Residents will have access to dining and entertainment provided by UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle.
The project incorporates environmental measures such as native landscape restoration, intelligent water reuse, and microgrid energy technology. All parking is either below grade or in a fully clad garage. The site is served by a consolidated physical plant generating hot and cold water and power. The property is designed to meet the city’s 100% water reuse goal. The project will be night-sky-compliant and will host weekly movie nights and monthly amateur astronomical star parties in the amphitheater.
The wellness center includes massage, facials, hair, manicure, and makeup services, as well as a weight training room, steam room, sauna, hammam, salt bath, red-light therapy, peptide therapy, cryogenic and hyperbaric oxygen chambers, isolation float pods, and a cold plunge. There are also yoga and Pilates studios, as well as outdoor activities such as amphitheater yoga and weight training.
UMusic Hotel & Private Residences Austin will establish an endowment to support local arts, music, wellness, and community initiatives. The property will offer paid performance opportunities, open calls, artist residencies, and educational programming for emerging talent. Partnerships with schools, universities, and cultural institutions are planned to advance mentorship and expand access to creative pathways.
Further details on opening timelines, programming, and residential offerings are expected in the coming months.
