Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas Names Hervé Duboscq General Manager

In Brief: Hervé Duboscq has been appointed as the new General Manager of Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas, bringing his extensive experience in the hospitality sector to the role.

Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas has appointed Hervé Duboscq as General Manager. Duboscq brings more than 30 years of international hospitality experience, with leadership roles in Asia, the Middle East, and the Indian Ocean. He began his career with Starwood and spent over 14 years with Shangri-La, most recently serving as General Manager of Shangri-La Colombo in Sri Lanka.

Duboscq has managed teams in Oman, Singapore, Indonesia, the Maldives, and New Caledonia. At Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas, he will focus on further enhancing the resort’s positioning as a coastal destination in Malaysia.

Nicholas Smith, Vice President of Operations, Asia, Minor Hotels, confirmed the appointment. Duboscq said he looks forward to working with the team at Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas.
