IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

If you spend even a single day taking it easy over the coming year then you won’t be living up to your full potential. Promise yourself now that you will never give less than 100 per cent and never accept less than perfection in everything you do.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If your sixth sense keeps nagging at you that you’ve got something wrong you would be a fool not to listen. If you try to convince yourself that you are still on the right track you could end up some place you really don’t want to be.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The sun and Jupiter in the most social area of your chart makes this the perfect occasion to get out and about in the world and have a good time. Not everyone will be amused by your antics but you won’t care in the slightest.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Make sure partners and loved ones know what it is you expect of them. You may be able to see the bigger picture but their minds are not as wide-ranging as yours, so spell it out for them in simple terms that everyone can understand.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Good news is coming your way and it is travelling so fast that most likely it will arrive before the weekend. What you discover about a friend or work colleague will restore your faith in human nature. Don’t let it escape you again.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you get an opportunity to move up in the world over the next few days you must pounce on it eagerly. The planets warn if you hesitate for even a few moments one of your rivals will beat you to it, and you may never forgive yourself.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

What is it in life that inspires you the most? Why are you not devoting all your time and energy to it? Whatever the reason may be you can and you must focus on it now to the exclusion of everything else. Nothing else matters as much.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You always take responsibility for your decisions and actions but it would appear that a co-worker is trying to lay the blame for their own mistake on someone else. If that someone else is you, don’t let them get away with it.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Clear your head of any and all thoughts that are not about moving closer to your long-term goals. As one of the zodiac’s most single-minded signs that should not be too much of a hardship, and the rewards will be worth it.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Risk-taking comes naturally to you and there is every reason to believe that the risks you take over the next two or three days will pay off in a big way. However, come the weekend you would be wise to show a little more self-discipline.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You don’t need approval for your latest plan, you just need to believe in what you are doing and go for it with every ounce of passion you possess. As a cardinal sign you should never be afraid to be the one who takes the initiative.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may have to deal with someone you don’t much like today but if you make an effort to get along with them you may be surprised how easily you can work together. Very different personalities sometimes make very good workmates.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The world should be a bright and sunny place for you now and if it is not then you need to buck up your ideas and focus more on the good things than the bad. Keep telling yourself that you are extra special, because it’s true!
