Now available in Canada, the Blooms by Play-Doh collection offers adults a fun and relaxing way to unwind and create their own everlasting floral arrangements.

According to Hasbro, Play-Doh’s parent company, the new collection “reimagines the Play-Doh experience as an elevated way to craft realistic floral arrangements, marking the brand’s entry into the adult crafting and home décor space.” 

Kits start at $30 CAD, making each one a fraction of the cost of live floral arrangements. 

“The Play-Doh brand has always been about the limitless possibilities of imagination. That feeling doesn’t fade as you grow up, it evolves,” said Brian Baker, Senior Vice President, Play-Doh at Hasbro. “Blooms by Play-Doh serves that need, offering a more elevated, hands-on way to slow down, get lost in the process and create something beautiful you can enjoy long after you’ve made it.”

What is Blooms by Play-Doh? 

Blooms by Play-Doh is the brand’s newly released collection of crafting kits designed specifically for adults and teens. 

The kits guide users through creating lifelike flowers, from shaping individual petals to arranging a finished bouquet using, you guessed it, Play-Doh. 

Each set includes everything needed to complete a floral arrangement, including Play-Doh compound, tools, moulds, a vase and a specially formulated finishing spray that helps maintain the structure of the flowers over time.

How to create Blooms by Play-Doh bouquets 

Whether you’re a crafting queen or a complete novice, Blooms by Play-Doh kits are designed to be hands-on and immersive, with step-by-step instructions that make it approachable for everyone while delivering polished results.

Simply stack pieces of Play-Doh compound in your preferred colours inside the flower maker tools to press and reveal colourful petals. Then add accents to your arrangements by creating hand-formed flowers and attaching them to the included stems. Let your flowers dry, then spritz with finishing spray to ensure your arrangements stay looking beautiful for months to come.
