Nammos Ras El Hekma Resort Announced as Integrated Destination on Egypt’s North Coast

Modon Holding and Nammos Hotels & Resorts have announced the launch of Nammos Ras El Hekma, the first fully integrated Nammos destination in Egypt. The development is located within the Wadi Yemm precinct on Egypt’s North Coast and is part of the broader Ras El Hekma masterplan.

Nammos Ras El Hekma will feature Nammos Residences, Nammos Resort, Nammos Village, and a range of dining and wellness experiences. Nammos Residences will offer 72 apartments, ranging from one to four bedrooms, as well as a penthouse. Nammos Resort will offer 79 hotel keys across five categories: junior suites, one- and two-bedroom suites, presidential suites, and celebration suites.

Residents and guests will have access to hospitality, wellness, retail, and leisure facilities within Ras El Hekma. Nammos Village will introduce a retail concept inspired by the rediscovery of a Mediterranean village, offering shopping, wellness, and art experiences.

Amenities at Nammos Ras El Hekma will include a wellness and fitness centre, spa facilities, swimming pools, cabanas, a kids’ club, private dining environments, and direct access to hospitality experiences throughout the destination. The Nammos Restaurant and Beach Club will serve as a signature feature, offering dining, private cabanas, sunbeds, pools, and direct beach access.

The architectural design draws on Mediterranean and Cycladic traditions, incorporating arched forms, sculpted massing, limewashed surfaces, and natural materials to establish a distinct identity within Ras El Hekma.

Nammos Ras El Hekma is part of the USD 35 billion Ras El Hekma masterplan, which covers 170.8 million square metres and is projected to attract USD 110 billion in investment by 2045. Wadi Yemm is the first of 17 precincts within Ras El Hekma to move into delivery and will also include a series of cultural landmarks.

The Ras El Hekma destination is designed for access by road, sea, and air, and is located within four hours’ flight time of nearly half the world’s population. Planned infrastructure includes a new international airport integrated with high-speed rail networks, major highways, marinas, and a dedicated cruise terminal. The area spans 44 kilometres of Mediterranean coastline and will offer a mix of leisure, hospitality, and cultural facilities. The masterplan includes a central business and financial district, as well as education, residential, and mixed-use districts intended to support a year-round community.
