São Paulo’s hotel sector recorded a strong July 2026, with conferences helping lift room demand and pricing to new monthly records.
Preliminary CoStar data showed occupancy reached 61.8%, up 3.9% year over year. Average daily rate rose 5.5% to BRL706.65, while revenue per available room increased 9.6% to BRL436.60, both the highest July levels recorded for the market.
The AI Summit Brazil was a key driver of hotel performance. Occupancy peaked at 83.9% on Thursday, July 23, while ADR and RevPAR reached their monthly highs the previous night. On July 22, ADR climbed to BRL756.89 and RevPAR reached BRL629.48. Those were the only two nights in July when RevPAR surpassed BRL600.
The Biocontrol & Biostimulant LATAM conference, held July 27-29, also boosted hotel performance late in the month. ADR reached BRL747.39 on the event’s second day, while occupancy rose to 80.2% and RevPAR reached BRL580.74 the following night.
