M&M’s just launched a new flavor that fans are “going to devour.”

On Aug. 16, trusted food blogger Markie_Devo took to Instagram with exciting news for chocolate-mint lovers.

“I am going to DEVOUR these new Mint Crunchy Cookie M&M’s!” he declared. “They are starting to arrive at Walmart, and as a mint fan, these sound incredible!”

The new M&M’s flavor, arriving in stores now, features a mint chocolate outside with a crunchy cookie inside; they are exclusively available at Walmart. According to Walmart’s website, a Share size of Mint Crunchy Cookie M&M’s is available for $2.78.

In the comments of Devo’s post, followers shared their excitement over the new M&M’s flavor, with one Instagram user writing, “OOH! Seems [like] a riff off thin mint cookies. I wanna chop these up and add to cookies. A new twist. Or even peppermint bark.”

A second echoed, “Doing everything they can not to call it a thin mint.”

Another shared, “Omg, yes!! I had forgotten about the mint M&M’s. They were my favorite, and I don’t remember seeing them recently. Did they discontinue them??”

Someone else pointed out, “I used to mix their mint ones with their cookie ones…now I don’t have to.”

A different follower exclaimed, “Can’t wait for these,” as another declared, “Oh hell yeah.”

Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user confirmed, “Just tried these. So good.”

In 1991, M&M’s launched its Mint flavor year-round — but it was discontinued in most places in 2003. The mint variety makes an annual return around the winter holidays. In 2023, M&M’s premiered its Crunchy Cookie flavor, which is still available today.
