One Piece fans have plenty to look forward to. On top of the ongoing manga and Toei Animation’s long-running anime, Netflix has several upcoming One Piece projects, including a third season of its live-action show, WIT Studio’s anime remake, and a third, more unexpected adaptation: Lego One Piece. Netflix just released a new trailer for this brickified take on the series. It’s a two-part special that retells the events of the live-action One Piece show with the same voice cast.
The trailer shows the Straw Hat Pirates’ early adventures as they set sail for the Grand Line while battling Buggy the Clown. It’s clear that the special will speed through these adventures because, at one point, we see a VCR fast-forward effect as the narrative leaps to Chopper’s Drum Island arc. This adaptation seems framed around Usopp retelling these adventures (with some embellishments), and it feels like a solid way to recap events before the third season of the live-action series releases next year. Lego One Piece is out on Sept. 29.

Netflix also revealed a new teaser image for The One Piece, an anime remake that will tell the story from the beginning. Animated by WIT Studio (Spy x Family, Attack on Titan, Ranking of Kings), fans expect this to be a more manga-accurate adaptation that won’t include the “filler” arcs from Toei Animation’s ongoing anime. The One Piece premieres on Netflix in February 2027. The third season of Netflix’s live-action adaptation will also air in 2027.
Somehow, that isn’t all that’s in the works. One Piece Grand Gourmet is a new video game that’s set for an Oct. 23 release date on mobile, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and Steam. It’s a restaurant management game from the acclaimed Kairosoft, the studio behind beloved sims like Game Dev Story.
As for the manga, the series is on chapter 1190 and counting. Author Eiichiro Oda has said his decade-spanning epic is finally starting to wind down, with the story ending in the next few years. Toei’s anime adaptation is close behind the manga, and after airing weekly for years, Toei is finally reducing production pace to 26 episodes or fewer a year. Even if the manga and anime end soon (which may not be the case), it is clear that there are enough One Piece projects in the pipeline to keep Luffy fans happy for the foreseeable future.
