Costa Brava hotel group invests in a more connected technology foundation, combining innovation and operational modernization with a people-first approach to hospitality.

Cloudbeds, the hospitality management system built for ambitious hoteliers, today announced that Aromar Hotels & Restaurants has selected Cloudbeds to support the next phase of modernization across its three-property portfolio on Spain’s Costa Brava.

The partnership marks the latest step in Aromar’s continued evolution after more than 60 years in Costa Brava hospitality. A family-owned group and pioneer of tourism in the region, Aromar continues to invest in innovation, service excellence and more modern ways of working while preserving the personalized approach, distinctive character and strong connection to the region that have shaped the business for decades.

After evaluating several technology providers, Aromar selected Cloudbeds as a modern, integrated and scalable foundation for managing its hotel portfolio. The group will use the platform to bring operational and commercial management into a more connected environment, improve visibility across its properties, strengthen analysis and decision-making, and create more consistent workflows for hotel teams while maintaining the individual character of each establishment.

“At Aromar Hotels, we have always had a very clear vision: technology should serve people and help us deliver a better experience to our guests. After analyzing different alternatives, we chose Cloudbeds because we believe it is a modern, integrated platform that is prepared to support us through our transformation and growth. Our goal is not simply to implement a new PMS, but to continue evolving the way we manage our hotels, improving operational efficiency, strengthening direct sales and making our teams’ day-to-day work easier.” said Iván Todorov Ivanov, CEO of Aromar Hotels & Restaurants. “The quality of the service we provide depends, to a great extent, on the people who are part of our hotels. That is why we invest in tools that allow our professionals to spend more time with guests and less time on administrative tasks.

“The groups that define European hospitality over the next decade will be the ones that know their guests best and can act on their preferences fastest,” said Rafael Blanes, Chief Growth Officer of Cloudbeds. “Aromar has spent 60 years building that instinct. Our job is to put the data and the distribution reach behind it so they can deliver a great experience more often.”

Cloudbeds will support several areas of Aromar’s business, including property management, groups & events, reporting and guest experience. Aromar will also use Cloudbeds’ digital check-in, guest communications and AI chatbot capabilities to create more seamless interactions across the guest journey. Through Cloudbeds open API, the group will be able to extend the platform and connect specialist technologies across its broader technology ecosystem as its needs evolve.

“We are confident that this collaboration with Cloudbeds will help us continue driving innovation within Aromar Hotels and position us to meet the challenges and opportunities facing the future of the hospitality industry.” said Iván Todorov Ivanov, CEO of Aromar Hotels & Restaurants.

The transformation reflects Aromar’s belief that technology should strengthen the human side of hospitality. By simplifying processes and equipping teams with better tools and information, the group aims to support its people as the business continues to evolve while protecting the personal service at the heart of the Aromar experience.
