If I had it my way, my entire kitchen would be covered in all things pink. It practically is, anyway, much to the chagrin of my husband. I just can’t understand why anyone would prefer a small appliance in plain stainless steel over, let’s say, bubblegum pink. When pink is an option, it should always be the choice, at least in my humble opinion.
Over the years my collection of pink kitchen gadgetry, including some pots and pans here and there, has grown exponentially because my friends and family know how much I love it. Still, when I see a new piece in a rose-colored hue I get a profound sense of joy. A new member to add to the pink kitchen family. There are way worse vices to have.

Emile Henry Madeleine Loaf Pan in Rose Candy, $62.95 at Sur la Table

If you’ve made it this far in the article, then it should go without saying that my heart went pitter-patter upon laying eyes on this Emile Henry Madeleine Loaf Pan at Sur la Table. Now my guess is that the softly scalloped, wavy edging on the pan is supposed to represent the silhouette of a Madeleine cookie, but in this gorgeous rose colorway it looks more like a blooming flower. And, yes, I love it.

This is a little larger than your average loaf pan (the standard is 8.5 inches long while this Emile Henry version is 11.2 inches in length) and is made from a burgundy clay material. That means it handles high oven temperatures well and distributes heat really evenly.
I should also mention that the loaf pan does come in two additional colorways: vanilla (a creamy hue) and clay (not quite stark white and not quite light grey). But enough about those.
Customers who’ve been using the pan love it and the color.
