Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave‘s “The Hunt for Gisco’s Treasure” quest is, at a glance, the ideal quest. You can stay in Dagsion to complete it, and you get a decent bit of money and renown when you do. Depending on where you travel in the city and how much you take in the sights, though, there’s a chance you’ll have no clue where to look for this little scavenger hunt.

The quest giver has a little scrap of a riddle to help guide you. “A colossus gazes upon Baal’s waters. On the stone where she points, something worthy of note.” Way back when you start someone’s Act 1, Seteth’s narration tells you the lake surrounding Dagsion is called Lake Baal, so that’s the first clue. You’re hunting for something overlooking the lake, which means the port in Lowtown is the best place to go.

Happily, there’s just one statue in Lowtown, just east of the Vandahl Trading Company. She’s pointing east-ish, but there’s no item or treasure trove or anything in sight other than a wall. That’s because the treasure is on the other side of the wall, along the little path that takes you down to the harbor side.

Grab it, head back to the quest giver, and you’ll get your reward: a Morfis Almanac book, 5,000 gold, and 80 renown. The book is an uncommon one, so it’s a very good gift for book lovers and decent for those who prefer uncommon and rare items, like Talimun and Catania.
