Kempinski Group has appointed Andrea Vanni as chief financial officer.
Vanni has served as a board member of Kempinski A.G. for more than three years. His appointment follows more than 25 years of experience in the European real estate industry, including debt and equity capital solutions.
Before founding real estate finance and development companies focused on real estate and hospitality, Vanni held senior roles at J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank. Over his career as a founder, he has completed more than €20 billion in debt, equity and development transactions.
Vanni will oversee Kempinski’s financial framework, hotel performance and returns for owners. The company identified acquisitions, management contracts, branded residences and brand debuts in priority and emerging markets as growth opportunities.
Kempinski’s growth strategy will prioritize existing assets, product and service quality, and returns for owners and investors. The company also plans to continue partnerships with owners and pursue new destinations with new partners.
Kempinski operates 74 properties in 33 countries and has more than 20 projects under development.
