A Carnival Village is taking over two Toronto hotspots this weekend and it’s free

29 July 20252 Mins Read

Do you feel it? It’s the rhythm of the islands, and it’s making its way to Toronto this weekend. As we gear up for a weekend of Caribana fun, a new experience debuts in the city for two days only. Carnival Village is the latest addition to the event lineup, and it’s bringing the heat to two major Toronto locations.

Whether you’re looking to dance, eat, shop or soak up all the vibes, this totally free celebration is calling your name.

Where is Carnival Village taking place?

Right in the heart of the city, Sankofa Square will transform into a cultural hub on Aug. 1 and 2, 2025, from 1 to 7 p.m.

Expect live music, dancing, Caribbean cuisine, and a fun marketplace. This is your chance to support local, Black-owned vendors and embrace the Caribbean culture.

Fun doesn’t end there! If you’re looking for more lakefront views, head to Coronation Park. The party continues on Aug. 2, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Picture this: cultural showcases, live performances, and fantastic Lake Ontario views.

This two-day bash is all about celebrating community, culture, and creativity.

Mark your calendars, gather your crew and get ready to celebrate this weekend.

Wherever you decide to go, you’re in for a high-energy, feel-good time.
