A fall festival with a haunted maze and a 22-foot-tall glowing pumpkin is coming to Toronto

11 September 20264 Mins Read

Fall season is slowly starting to creep in, Toronto. That means crisp morning air, hues of orange and red, and lots — and I mean LOTS — of pumpkins. Halloween Nights of Lights and Pumpkinville returns this month, and is set to illuminate the night sky with over 1.5 million dazzling lights, midway rides, seasonal eats, and more than 15,000 real pumpkins.

Taking over a portion of Etobicoke’s CF Sherway Gardens parking lot, the annual celebration is back and even bigger with more interactive experiences. It will kick off on Sept. 25 and run on select dates through Nov. 1, 2026.

What to know about Nights of Lights & Pumpkinville

Where are Nights of Lights & Pumpkinville located?

Nights of Lights and Pumpkinville are located outdoors at CF Sherway Gardens, 25 The West Mall in Etobicoke, Ont. It’s taking over a portion of the mall’s parking lot, across from the former Hudson’s Bay location.

How do Pumpkinville and Nights of Lights work together?

Evening admission includes both, so you can explore Pumpkinville’s pumpkin-filled town, food, photo moments and activities, then experience the Nights of Lights walk once it gets dark.

According to organizers, Pumpkinville stays open during the evening, so you can enjoy both during your visit.

Can I visit Pumpkinville during the day without doing Nights of Lights?

You can visit Pumpkinville during the day. There’s a separate daytime ticket option at a special daytime price, with a daytime All-You-Can-Play option also available on the website.

It is important to note that Nights of Lights is part of the evening experience and is not included in the daytime-only ticket. But if you purchase an evening ticket, you may arrive early to enjoy Pumpkinville.

What can I do at Pumpkinville and Nights of Lights?

Whether you’re there for the thrilling Light show walk-through, new installations, mini Milo, or pumpkin displays, there are plenty of activities to do.

Some of these include:

  • The Harvested Haunted Maze (5,000-square-foot haunted maze with sinister characters)
  • Mini Milo display (a 22-foot-tall glowing pumpkin)
  • Mechanical bull
  • Rides and inflatables
  • Pumpkinville games yard
  • Axe throwing
  • Pumpkin launch
  • Pumpkin smash
  • Trivia nights
  • Country line dancing
  • Charm dig
  • Bracelet making
  • Pumpkin carving

Will there be food and drinks available for purchase?

There will be a variety of food vendors and food trucks available. You’ll also want to try some of the fall-themed eats available for purchase.

What are the special event nights?

According to organizers, these events happen every week throughout the event:

  • Every Thursday: Trivia Night with Shows Starting at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
  • Every Friday: Country Line Dancing from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Every Saturday: Live Performances

Tickets, pricing and timing

Tickets can now be purchased online, and visitors can pick a time slot for their arrival. This just helps organizers manage capacity!

Once you purchase them, they’ll be sent to your email, where you can then display them on your phone to be scanned at the entrance.

Tickets are priced at $21.99 plus fees for adults and $16.99 plus fees for children. Family rates can be found online after picking the date of your arrival.

What if it rains? What happens then?

Nights of Lights and Pumpkinville will operate rain, shine or snow. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather.

Though we technically still have a few more days left of summer, we can’t help but get into the festive fall mood.

When: Select dates from Sept. 25 to Nov. 1, 2026
Time: Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight, Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.
Where: CF Sherway Gardens, Outdoor Parking Lot, 25 The West Mall, Etobicoke, Ont.
